These terms cover how Known Velocity is read, how material sent to the editorial desk is handled, and where responsibility sits when a build diary, lap note or event listing goes live. They apply to readers, contributors and event organisers alike.

Submitted material may be trimmed, reordered or lightly rewritten so it reads clearly on the page. Technical figures, part names and session notes are kept as received unless a correction is confirmed with the contributor.
By sending material you confirm you own it or have permission to share it, including any photos taken by someone else at a circuit or workshop. Do not send content that promotes prohibited categories or that you do not have the right to publish.
Club and regional event listings are published as they are received. Organisers remain responsible for dates, venues, entry requirements and any last-minute changes, and should notify the editorial desk when a listing needs correcting.
Explainers reflect the experience of the named mechanic or fabricator and the specific car in front of them. They are not a substitute for advice from a workshop that has inspected your own vehicle, and any work you carry out remains your responsibility.
The editorial desk may decline or remove any submission, listing or comment at its discretion, including where accuracy cannot be confirmed or where the material puts readers at risk. These terms may be updated, and the current version always applies.
